The third thing you’re required to do is develop a new habit or hobby. When you have something altogether new to interest you, it would be less difficult for you to resist the urge to smoke. Having a new hobby doesn’t necessarily mean that you have to find something new to spend on. You could form a habit of cleaning for example. Whenever you feel the urge to smoke, find something to clean right away then focus all your efforts on the task. Fourth is to consider taking quit smoking medication. Quit smoking medication can lessen the occurrence of symptoms such as insomnia, depression and erratic mood swings. Fifth is to maintain a healthy diet. A lot of people who quit smoking find themselves feeling distracted from their objective by their sudden weight gain. So that you won’t be bothered by this additional problem, make sure that you follow a healthy diet regime.
