Other Ways Smoking Kills
Most people only know that most deaths casued by smoking is due to lung cancer. This article explains the other ways how smoking can kill you.

The common knowledge of people is that cigarette smoking can eventually lead to a person’s slow death. That’s why there have been ironic warnings by cigarette companies that say “Cigarette Smoking is Dangerous for Your Health.”

Do you think that those warnings come from their heart? If people took those warnings seriously then they would be out of business. There are fewer people that are able to quit than people who start or learn to smoke in a day. That’s why cigarette companies could just bare with those warnings anyway.

What’s unknown to cigarette users is that more people will die not from lung cancer caused by smoke.  There are more people who die who develop circulatory problems from the cigarette smoke.

The biggest chemical problem that cigarettes have is the nicotine and the carbon monoxide. Nicotine has very powerful effects towards the arteries of the whole body. It works as a stimulant and makes the heart beat faster by 20 beats per minute with every cigarette stick a person smokes.

Cigarette also increases the blood pressure and constricts the arteries. This makes the hard have a more difficult time to pump through the constricted arteries. It will then cause the body to release more cholesterol and fat into the blood. And we all know how bad fat and cholesterol is.

The heart will then need to pump harder just to overcome these effects. The heart will also need more oxygen for fuel. The carbon monoxide will eventually take the place of oxygen in the blood. When this happens, the heart will need to work hard on its own. The heart will eventually become more stressed when this happens. The more sticks you smoke the more stressed your heart gets.

The arteries will also be clogged by the blood clots that will develop as well. The clot formations may form in the major arteries. It can then lead to deadly heart attacks and infractions.

It is due to the vasoconstrictor effect of the nicotine that causes the body to release more cholesterol and fat. The carbon monoxide only makes things worse. It has a property that makes the fat and cholesterol stick to the arteries. This will eventually lead to the build-up of fatty tissue. This leads to significant reduction of blood flow to the tissues that supply the organs.

The blood circulation in the brain can also be affected. The arteries in the brain become very prominent and thick from the build-up of fat. Because of the clots, this could lead to seizures, strokes or even death.

Smoking also causes Buerger disease. This disease clots the arteries in the limbs of a person. This makes the part rot or experience gang green. The part that has been affected needs to be amputated. If you think that this disease is just a way to scare you, this disease is for real. This is because only persons who smoke were reportedly affected by Buerger disease.

If you think it’s worth it to smoke while being bedridden or without a finger or toe. Then continue on with your smoking ways.
