It's Never Too Late to Quit Smoking
If you've given up trying to quit smoking for the 3rd time or the 5th time or the 10th time. never give up trying. no matter how old you are you can still imporve your health.

Too late, too late to quit….hehey…sorry to say that’s the only part of the song I know of. I also don’t know what the song is trying to say and who sung it.

What I do know is that quitting smoking is never too late. It’s like having your soul saved by God. Redemption is always there if you are looking for it. But this is not a religious article. This article will tell you that even if you are 99 years old, it’s not late to quit smoking.

When quitting smoking, it’s best to have an optimistic attitude. Never say why quit when you feel it’s too late. There will still be ways to prevent the damage from getting worse if you do stop smoking. No matter how old or how long you’ve smoked, quitting the habit will give immediate health benefits.

If you continue to smoke, you will continue to expose yourself to these threats: stroke, heart disease, cancer, diabetes, high blood pressure and eye problems. Older individuals generally lose mobility, independence and functioning due to smoke. The worse thing about it is that it may cause more complications from drugs prescribed to you.

Smoking isn’t all that bad actually; once you’ve learned to quit the habit. The clogged part at your arteries improves at a really fast rate. It’s like hiring a plumber to immediately clear those clogged crap away. The risk of stroke is also reduced within a few years of quitting smoking.

When you quit smoking it also improves your lung function greatly. You lungs can be able to breathe more oxygen giving your heart more fuel. The more fuel your heart has, the easier time it has to pump blood.

For those that have lung cancer. Quitting significantly reduces their risk of having lung tumors. It also prevents further decline in their lungs. It will be almost unbelievable to see that the person is still smoking when he or she already has lung cancer.

Reading all the bad effects of smoking and saying you should quit is really not as easy as taking crap. It requires great effort and sometimes the effort will be like building the pyramids. It will be very monumental, especially for those that have been smoking for years.

However, don’t despair if you quit on the 1st try. There are always people out there that have failed to do so at their first try as well.

What’s important is you try to stop. If you fail to try, you’ve already failed.
