Exercise and keeping ourselves into shape is one important thing that we must make into a habit in our daily lives. Being able to exercise guarantees a person to become healthier and feel younger too.
For some going to the gym to workout can be a stressful experience. It may make the person feel awkward or ashamed to work out at the gym with those other buff out people. If you are very ashamed to enter back into the gym to exercise and keep yourself fit, there are other work outs that you can do without going to those clubs. Here are some suggestions that can firm up your flabby muscles, lose weight and get back to shape. You should try out bodyweight exercises and walking or jogging at hills. This program will only take about 15 to 20 minutes of your day. Go find a hill that is not to steep near your home. Finding a hill itself will be an arduous exercise when the hill will be on the next state or a mile away. Bring a measuring tape and make sure that the hill is about 400 feet long. Don’t cheat yourself by finding a very short hill. Walk up and down the hill briskly which will be one repetition. If you do this 5 times you will get your heart rate up. This exercise will have made you walked around ¾ miles. When just starting out don't be discouraged if you can't perform the routine 5 times consecutively. Simply do as many as you can and go from there increasing strength until you can do more. If you are no longer feeling that you are able to do it stop and rest before continuing. This exercise can be done for only 12-15 minutes, depending on how fit you are. As you increase strength and feel yourself losing weight you can then begin to jog up the hill then eventually moving to a sprint. You should be like those characters in movies that become so motivated to become thin that they run up the hill as fast as they can. Walking up the hill will help lose weight but it is through sprinting up the hill that the fat will melt. The hormones that are released when you were younger and thinner are the same as when you sprint up the hill. You can do the hill walking exercise just every other day. When you don’t walk the hill do bodyweight exercises. You may do push-ups or knee bends. If you haven’t exercised for a while, do the exercise for only 4 or 5 times at first. It will be very hard but you’d need to stick with it. Remember to not hurt yourself when you are building your muscles. What good is working out when you become immobile? Gradually go farther each week. This will help you out notice that you are developing strength. Do the pushups and knee bend twice a week only.
