A skin with stretch marks is a skin with long scars. Vitamins, especially the vitamin D3 can help rejuvenate the skin so that stretch marks will not be noticeable.
There are different types of human skin. Some human skins are more prone to scarring and this is why stretch marks may appear among teenagers. Other human skins are more elastic and firmer and this is why they never develop visible stretch marks. Most skins of a woman, however, can develop stretch marks during pregnancy. In the first trimester of pregnancy, a woman’s stomach may remain flat. But in the second trimester, the baby inside grows quickly. At the same time, the woman’s abdomen drastically expands and overstretches. And in the last trimester, other parts of the woman’s body also expand. The buttocks expand to prepare the body for the inevitable birth. The breasts grow larger to prepare for the nutrition of the coming baby. With all the expansion and overstretching of the skin, the epidermal (skin) cells pushes beyond their normal elasticity. Breaks, tears and ruptures occur on the expanding skin. These tears are not easily visible to the naked eye, but the body recognizes the breaks in the skin and the body proceeds to fixing such breaks and tears. Each time the body “fixes” a break in the skin, it is actually producing scars. The scars that cover the long tears on the expanding skin are popularly called stretch marks. Depending on the type of human skin, the color and severity of stretch marks vary. Some stretch marks are reddish which appear like scratches made by talons. Other stretch marks are dark brown which looked like the abstract strokes of a mad painter. Whatever the appearance of stretch marks, these are always ugly and unwelcome. To remove the stretch marks or, at least, to reduce their angry appearance, a skin must regenerate. That is, new skin cells should be produced to replace the scars or stretch marks. Some women are lucky since they are able to easily regenerate new skin cells. And this is why they do not endure the lifetime presence of ugly stretch marks. Some women, however, may have their new skin cell production impeded. For these women, they may find solutions from vitamins, such as the vitamin D3. The precursor of this vitamin is present in the upper layers of the skin. The precursor can be changed into the useful form, vitamin D3, when the skin is exposed to sunlight. Unfortunately, many women today do not have enough exposure to sunlight. This means that there will be insufficient vitamin D3 that will aid in the regeneration of the skin. The good news is that a woman can obtain this vitamin D3 from a non-traditional source, that is, from botanical formulations such as the Stretch Mark Prevention Cream. The vitamin D3 in the Stretch Mark Prevention Cream helps in rejuvenating the scarred skin and in replacing it with healthier and smoother skin.
