Herbs: How the Proper Combinations Work
Herbs are used in combinations to battle illness.Here is a list of some combiantions of herbs to help you combat some illness you feel.

Herbs are often used in combinations against illness. They’re like poker cards; you need to use the proper combination to win. Herbs are mixed together to boost their properties. However, combinations are not always necessary.

Proper diet is also important. Herbs should also not be taken for prolonged periods because your body may be immune from the herbs or side effects may be expected. Herbs can also make digestion difficult, so try to eat real fresh yogurt to combat it. Also remember to start gradually, check out if there might be side effects. If there isn’t then continue with t and you may increase the dosage.

Here are some of the combinations of herbs to use for illness:

Acne:
Combine the herbs: raspberry leaf, lemon grass, nettle, dandelions, and evening primrose oil.
Let it simmer for 5 minutes in a nonmetallic pan with the following: 1 tablespoon of ground cloves, 1 tablespoon of ground cinnamon, 3 tablespoons of witch hazel bark, and 2 quarts of water.   Add the following again: a half cup of chopped marjoram, a half cup of fresh thyme, a cup of fresh chopped peppermint. Let it simmer for 5 more minutes and let it cool. Than apply it with cotton to areas where there is acne. Afterwards use aloe moisturizers.

Allergies:
Combine the following herbs: burdock, marshmallow, cayenne, lobelia, goldenseal, scullcap, and blessed thissle.
The following combinations could also be used on: upper respiratory infections, hay fever and colds.

Anemia:
Combine the following herbs: mullein, burdock, nettle, red beet, lobelia and yellow dock.
They can also be used for: multiple sclerosis, Parkinson’s, fatigue and energy.

Blood Pressure or Heart Problems:
Combine the following herbs: parsley, Hawthorne, garlic and cayenne.

Arthritis:
Combine the following herbs: lemon grass, lobelia, comfrey, yucca, alfalfa, cat’s claw, black cohosh, yarrow and chaparral.
Also be used for: rheumatism and gout.

Colds:
Combine the following herbs: cayenne, goldenseal, peppermint, myrrh, sage, garlic and rose hips.
Also be used for: ear infections, fever, tonsillitis, bronchitis, and flu.

Constipation:
Combine the following herbs: slippery elm, Aloe Vera and Barberry
Also can be used for: cleansing

Coughs:
Combine the following herbs: wild cherry bark, comfrey root, licorice, elecampane and lobella
Also can be used for: sore throats and hay fever

Earaches:
Combine the following herbs: garlic oil, lobelia extracts and oil of mullein and drop it into the ear.

Eye Problems:
Combine the following herbs: bayberry, goldenseal and eyebright
Also be used for: hay fever, allergies, cataracts and eyewash. 

Gum Disease:
Use myrrh and goldenseal as mouthwashes.

Infections:
Combine the following herbs: goldenseal, Echinacea, myrrh and cayenne
It can also be used for mumps and measles.

Insomnia:
Combine the following herbs: scullcap, valerian and hops.
It can also be used for stress, headaches and hyperactivity.

Kidneys:
Combine the following herbs: uva ursi, ginger, juniper, marshmallow and dandelions.
Also be used for: urinary problems and bladder.

Liver:
Combine the following herbs: parsley, dandelion, horsetail, lobelia, wild yam, ginger and kelp.
Also be used for: spleen, gall bladder and cleansing.

Lungs:
Combine the following herbs: fenugreek, mullein, marshmallow, chickweed, and comfrey.
Also be used for: asthma and pneumonia.
