Are you experiencing painful irritating sensation sin your rectal area? This feeling makes you do simple things harder. You have a very hard time just to sit up and stand up. Doing those things makes it seem that you are carrying a boat load of weights on your anus. You may also feel irritated a lot and you keep scratching your rectal area; which makes people think how perverted and piggish you are. These are only some of the symptoms that a person can experience when he or she suffers from the condition of hemorrhoids.

If you are worried that you might have hemorrhoids now or in the near future, here are some causes that signify that you might have hemorrhoids. A careful lifestyle check of some causes here will help you determine if hemorrhoids might be the cause of your pain.

Straining during bowel movement:

A person who has regular problems with his or her bowel movements is the most often cause of hemorrhoids. This is because the pressure on the veins of the rectum will cause it to swell. When you experience diarrhea or constipation you may be staying a very long time in the toilet bowl straining your anal veins. If you are experiencing constipation there are some ways to make your stool softer. If you have diarrhea, immediately take medications to sooth the situation.

You should also avoid having bad bowel habits. These habits are those that make you stay for a very long period of time in the toilet bowl. Try to avoid reading a whole chapter of a novel or a whole article on a magazine. If possible keep your time short and simple. Try to also be very clean after you take a crap. Infections might occur when you don’t clean up well. Plus your butt will literally stink. There are toilets that have bidets installed, try to have one.

Genetics:

Genetics is only a small factor in having hemorrhoids. So you can not really put much blame on your ancestors for having a painful ass. You can still however blame them for having not great looks. Genetics can only make a person inherit characteristics such as weak veins. It will be the additional factors that may lead to hemorrhoids. Factors such as a job that requires a lot standing or sitting or bad bathroom habits lead to a person having hemorrhoids.

We can not blame bad genes for causing us hemorrhoids. We can only blame the bad behavior that we have gained from our parents that lead to hemorrhoids. Instead of blaming genes, try to change the beliefs and habits you have learned, while it is still pretty early.
